Who am I?

Greetings and welcome to my humble abode on the vast information superhighway. Who am I? I’m a person, just like you, whose life began much like yours, as a single tiny genetically unique cell. Since then, I like to think that I’ve grown up a bit. (Doesn’t guarantee that I’ve matured much though…) Like you, I’m a pilgrim on a journey through life, and I enjoy the company of my fellow pilgrims – I call them my friends and family. Without them, it sure would be a lonely journey, but they put up with me and for that and much more I am thankful.

Each person possess a unique individual perspective on the world; a personality informed by encountering various ideas and shaped by one’s own experiences of life, its many joys and its many anguishes. Each pilgrim has their own story to tell, intermingled with both happiness and sorrow; many stories all interwoven in the great cosmic narrative. This journal, one of many on the big world wide web, is just my attempt to exercise freedom of expression – to tell you my story, to engage you with tales from my experience, to share both my most ardent passions and my worst fears, to share with you my smiles and my tears and every life lesson that accompanies them; to speak, to investigate, to ponder, to ask, to seek, to laugh, to cry.

I offer no promise that the content will be interesting, nor do I promise that the content will be popular, politic or properly grammatically structured. In fact, I don’t make any promises. You can believe whatever you wish to believe; you are free to do so.

The content of the posts on this blog reflect my contemplations at the time of their posting. Such contemplations may change or evolve in the light of new information and insights gained from experience, rather than remaining static. It is the process of life-long learning. You are likely therefore to see me grow and view the progressive development of my own views which I communicate for both public discussion and personal contemplation.

Hi Taf. Glad to here that you are going to East Timor. It certainly is an amazing country with an amazing people and culture. You will certainly enjoy your time over there.
Unfortunately, due to the pressure oncoming VCE exams, I would not be able to meet with you to discuss what you may encounter or offer advice. However, should you have any questions, feel free to post them here. I’d be more than happy to answer them. =]

I came across your blog on MATRIX through some random search and am highly impressed with the thought process that has gone into it. Even this description of yours was unique too but I think would be more interested in knowing in who the real human is behind these thoughts
